Here are some of e-mail lists which are available for musicians. E-mail lists are "communities" of folks with common interests who share ideas, pointers, opinions, incentives, by posting messages to an address. The messages are then distributed to all members.
All e-mail lists mentioned here are free.
We need information on other lists. Please contact us with sign-up information for any that have been omitted and I will include them. If you find the information provided no longer works, please let me know. I do not subscribe to all of these, so have no way of knowing without your help.

This list features information on the world's largest hammered dulcimer festival, the O.D.P.C. Funfest, Evart, Michigan, which is held the third week of July each year. The dulcimer referred to is the "original"or hammered dulcimer. Other acoustic instruments are also encouraged at the festival. A great resource for those who are interested in attending for the first time. A way of staying in touch for those who have attended previously. A method for keeping you advised of plans. This list will be most active as the festival's July starting date approaches. Be forewarned that this is a very social list for friends who know each other or want to get aquainted with others who attend the festival. Please don't join this list if you are just interested in talking about dulcimers. There are other lists specifically for that topic. You'll find our banter too regional and too focused on this one festival and others in the Great Lakes area.
