Snowfest 2007

Snowfest in Frankenmuth, MI, means snow and ice sculpture competitions for many, but for the past fourteen years (yes, 14!!!), it's also included a concert/jam in historic Fischer Hall adjacent to the Frankenmuth Museum, hosted by Saginaw Subterranean Strings Hammered Dulcimer Club.

In 2007, the dates will be January 27 and 28. It's guaranteed that music and friendships will create a fun and lively time in "The Hall".

The format is always huge jams featuring Sub Strings rotating with "showcase acts". If you'd like to print out the tentative schedule, here is a pdf file.

This year, the line-up of acts includes the following:

The event is free, although a free-will offering is collected to benefit the Museum. It's a fun relaxed time. Saturday we play from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 5:00 p.m.

This is not an "open jam" because space on the stage is limited, but please contact us, if you have attended in the past and would like to join us on stage for the jam periods.
